Ms Maria Hartmann

Maria Hartmann received her B.Sc. degree in 2018 and her M.Sc. degree in 2020 from Freie Universität Berlin (Germany), continuing to work in the Theoretical Computer Science Group there until 2022. In February 2022, she joined the Parallel Computing & Optimisation Group (PCOG), SnT-Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust at the University of Luxembourg as a PhD Candidate.

Her current research focuses on novel federated machine learning techniques for satellite swarm applications, both in theory and in paving the way for use in the aerospace sector.
