Standardisation Department
ILNAS
Dr. Lucas Cicero joined the standardization department of the
Institut Luxembourgeois de la Normalisation, de l’Accréditation,
de la Sécurité et qualité des produits et services (ILNAS) in
2022. His main responsibilities entail raising awareness in, and
fostering involvement of the national aerospace stakeholders in
standardization activities (both in terms of standards usage and
contribution to projects). Having an experience primarily in the
aerospace technical domain (development and project management),
he is aware of all the challenges encountered by the different
parties in this field, and thus is registered as an expert in
the ISO/TC 20 “Aircraft and space vehicles” and CEN/CENLEC/JTC 5
“Space” technical committees. He is also in charge of aiding at
developing national standardization activities for conformity
assessment related topics (ISO/CASCO “Committee for Conformity
Assessment” and CEN/CLC/JTC 1 “Criteria for Conformity
Assessment Bodies”). In December 2014 he earned a PhD in
Electronic Systems delivered by the Université de Lorraine
(Metz, France).
